This was an epic trip – I rode Othello in the driving rain all the way to Plymouth (about 300 miles) where I got the overnight ferry to Bilbao with about 250 other Harley riders. When I arrived I met Gary and his son Charley at the local dealer while they got their bikes fixed. From there we spent 3 nights riding down to Cascais for the rally - a great ride until I dropped my bike early on the last morning – breaking the handlebars and generally scuffing it up.
Despite that I got to the rally and all three of us won prizes in the Show – for me Best Custom – but I flew home and had the bike shipped back!
